This program is the 4th in a series for second year IxD MFA candidates. It engages prospective design leaders to set out the principles and practices they will enact as the foundation for their future careers.
As a participant in this program, you will work with the help of your colleagues to draft, evolve and hone a personal Charter. In simplest terms, you will thougtfully consider the Purpose, Principles, and Practices for your undertaking. Your charter will address the compelling reason that your enterprise is essential. You will start by envisioning the future you aspire to build. As the program progresses, working individually and in small teams, you will outline the values that serve as cornerstones for your principles. You will outline the principles that guide your actions. And you will align these by designing the ethical practices, constituency promises and protections, and the essential metrics that demonstrate that your efforts are consistent with your intentions.
If you are in the business of making a difference, then your platform must be robust. Your personal and professional integrity — the alignment of words and action, intent and deed, are essential. We will work together to ensure that you build the platform you deserve, and enable the future to which you aspire.
