Parsons' Creative Code Club is launching a new branch at SVA, to further its mission to teach designers how to code and empower them to turn their ideas into reality.
If you’ve wanted to learn to code this is a wonderful opportunity to hear from guest speakers, and get to know others looking to learn.
This branch of the code club is organized by MFA Interaction Design students - Sam Wander and Luke Stern - who feel there’s value in designers building empathy with engineers, expressing prototype ideas more tangibly, and applying programmatic thinking to interface design.
The aim is to create a mutually supportive learning culture for coding enthusiasts. So there will be more designers who code, and more empathy between disciplines as the next generation build new products, services and businesses.
There will be 4 sessions this semester, all on Wednesday evenings (April 2nd, April 9th, April 23rd, May 7th). This is the inaugural session.
