David Womack : Creative Director of Interaction Design at R/GA
David is an interaction designer with a background in storytelling.

As creative director of interaction design at R/GA, David provides vision and direction on projects for clients including the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Tiffany and Co., Price Waterhouse Coopers, and VCU’s Brand Center, among others. These projects span the full range of interactive media, including online, mobile, social, and product design.
Prior to R/GA, David led Adobe’s ThinkTank, which explored trends, issues, and best practices in interactive design. Additionally, he has collaborated on projects with HUGE, Pentagram, Ogilvy’s Brand Integration Group, and AIGA.
When he’s not designing interactions, he is writing about design and culture. David contributes articles to publications including Metropolis, Salon.com, The Guardian newspaper, and Cabinet magazine and is co-author of the book Becoming A Digital Designer.
David has an MFA in fiction from the University of Virginia and was a Darmasiswa Scholar at Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
