David Womack : Writer, editor, digital strategist
David Womack is a writer, editor, and consultant focusing on technology and culture.

He works closely with Adobe’s Experience Design group to define best practices in the field and edits Adobe ThinkTank, an online journal about trends and issues in interactive design. David also consults on projects for clients including Japan Society, DuPont, Yahoo!, and Time Warner. He was the director of new media at AIGA: the professional association of design, from 2000-2004 and served as executive editor of GAIN: AIGA Journal of Business and Design, and managing editor of VOICE: AIGA Journal of Design. In addition to co-authoring the book Becoming A Digital Designer, David contributes articles to publications including Metropolis, I.D., Salon.com, Print, The Guardian newspaper, and Cabinet. David was a Darmasiswa fellow at the Universitas Gadjah Mada, in Indonesia, and has an MFA in creative writing from the University of Virginia.
