Jennifer Bove : Principal, Kicker Studio
Jennifer Bove is a founder and Principal at Kicker Studio in San Francisco, a boutique product design agency focused on using new and emergent technologies to make delightful every-day products. Before starting Kicker, Jenn was VP of User Experience at both HUGE and Schematic in NYC.

She began her design career at the circus—quite literally—at Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey. In the 15 years since then, she’s been dedicated to making better products, processes and services for a variety of clients including Panasonic, Nokia, the BBC, Gucci and American Express. Her design and management work includes the Prada Epicenter store in New York, a groundbreaking experiment in luxury retail, and Yahoo Go!, an early benchmark in the industry for bringing web content to the mobile phone.
Jennifer holds a Masters in Interaction Design from the Interaction Design Institute Ivrea, and a Bachelor’s in French and English Literature from the College of William and Mary.
An active participant in the design community, Jenn has served as chair of several international conferences, most notably Design Engaged and the Interaction Design Association’s Interaction Conference. She’s been a visiting lecturer at NYU’s ITP, and has spoken at UC Berkeley, SVA, UX Week, and SXSW. Jenn’s writing has appeared in How Magazine, Fast Company and Creativity Online. Her work has been exhibited throughout Europe, including the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
She has a new puppy named Luna.
