Phi-Hong D. Ha : Service Design Lead, Fjord
Phi-Hong Ha is an interaction designer and strategist with special interest in the emerging practice of service design.

Her current role is as Service Design Lead at Fjord in Berlin where she recently led a project to create a branding framework for one of France’s leading mobile handset providers to enable its introduction of a new service offering. Fjord has several offices, in Europe and the US, and is collaborating with clients as diverse as Nokia, Greenpeace, and Deutsche Telekom’s innovative research arm, T-Labs.
Phi-Hong believes in conceptually driven systems and strives for elegant and memorable design solutions. She has consulted with organizations in a variety of industries, including media and entertainment, mobile and non-profit, to craft compelling brand experiences. Previously Phi-Hong helped Method define and build its user experience design practice in New York. It was there that she began to champion the practice of design for services.
Phi-Hong completed a Master’s degree in Interaction Design at Carnegie Mellon University and earned a BA in Economics from Cornell University. Outside of client work, she enjoys collaborating with artists and non-profits in exploring design solutions to the world’s economic and social challenges.
