Phi-Hong Ha is an Interaction Design and Strategy Consultant for products, services and digital interfaces. She believes in responsive, conceptually driven systems and strives for elegant and memorable design solutions. Phi-Hong has worked with organizations in a variety of industries, including media and entertainment, mobile, and non-profit.
Before consulting, Phi-Hong was a Senior User Experience Designer for Method where she led design teams in creating award-winning interactive experiences, including the redesign of TED.com and TheApt.com. She also helped to define and build the user experience design practice at Method’s New York office in its first operating year. It was here that Phi-Hong began to champion the emerging practice of interaction design for services. Prior to Method, she worked at New York-based interactive agencies Ultra16, Ruder Finn Interactive and Concrete Media. Phi-Hong began her career in design as a web producer at two internet startups in the 90s.
Outside of client work, Phi-Hong enjoys collaborating with artists and non-profits in exploring nontraditional design solutions to the world’s economic and social challenges.
Phi-Hong completed a Master of Design degree in Interaction Design Carnegie Mellon University and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Cornell University. She is a member of AIGA, as well as the Service Design Network.
