Emily Goligoski is the research lead at the Membership Puzzle Project. A writer and producer, She acts as an advocate for news consumers and delivers actionable insights to media organizations. She previously led research efforts at the New York Times, Mozilla Foundation, and Federated Media.
Emily completed her Master's in Learning, Design & Technology at Stanford while conducting user research at Intel Labs. She has taught needfinding at the Stanford design institute ("d.school"), The New School and General Assembly. Before working in the Bay Area she reported for Chicago Public Radio (WBEZ) and studied journalism at Northwestern. She is a Vinyasa yoga teacher and Youth Radio board member
