NYC Bike Share, better known as the parent company of New York’s Citi Bike approached the Design in Public Spaces class to increase
ridership amongst casual users, specifically at first-time users and tourists.The original pricing model was a major point of confusion
putting a heavy barrier for the onboarding of new users. Most people were skipping over the dense copy going straight to the screen
to figure out the Citi Bike system.
Through this user research students redesigned all 330+ Citi Bike kiosk stickers in NYC.
