The Musical Glove enables people greater control over their musical performances.

The Musical Glove was developed by Michie Cao and Sunnie Sang. By linking MIDI music controls to hand gestures, it allows for interactive and real-time music experimentation. With multiple sensors and switches built in, the Musical Glove can control various musical qualities. Three flex sensors sewn on the middle three fingers of the right hand help manipulate analog qualities, such as volume, through simple finger bends.  A contact switch allows the user to play singular notes or effects by touching the thumb and index fingers together. Lastly, an accelerometer that is attached at the wrist lets the user play sets of notes or effects, like a tambourine, by rotating their wrists to the left and right.
