Colleen Miller : Class of 2011
Colleen Miller holds a BS in Graphic Design Communication from Philadelphia University. She is a founding partner of Landers Miller Design, and has worked as a designer and art director for studios and clients in the fields of education, publishing, natural foods and pharmaceutical advertising. Since learning HTML at her first job out of college, she has aspired to create clear, smart, and effective print and interactive experiences.
Colleen is also an aspiring chef, self-proclaimed travel agent and a perpetual foreign language student who unabashedly loves country music and cowboy boots. She lives in Jersey City with her husband, Rick, and a hot dog named Chili Cheese.

Students were asked to devise a project that would allow them to use a semester’s knowledge about physical computing.

Students were asked to visualize a section within the permanent collection at MoMA or the Met. Or, they may visualize a single sporting event or season. Or, a personal collection of their choosing.

Students were asked to create a networked, mobile or interactive installation that enhances or extends the experience of the High Line park in NYC.

Students were asked to design a new solution for an existing problem.

Students had the task to critically examine interaction design for public spaces.

- Prototyping User Experiences/Research Methods Final
Students created prototypes based on the theme of augmented mindfulness.
