JoJo Glick : Class of 2012

JoJo Glick

JoJo graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Visual and Environmental Studies. She began working at the merchandising division of CBS. Thanks to this position, JoJo now knows more about Star Trek than she ever thought possible. She believes interaction design holds great power for our future and is thrilled to be a part of the SVA program.

Little Known Fact: Her imaginary friend as a child was Shorty from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. If you see him around the streets of New York, do give a high-five.

Selected Projects

  • Fundamentals Studios Final

    Students began their process by exploring project ideas within the themes of memory, behavior, politeness and sharing.

  • Physical Computing Final

    Students were asked to devise a project that would allow them to use a semester’s knowledge about physical computing.

  • Information Visualization

    Students were asked to visualize a section within the permanent collection at MoMA or the Met. Or, they may visualize a single sporting event or season. Or, a personal collection of their choosing.

  • MoMA Smartphone App

    Students developed a set of prototype smartphone apps for the Museum of Modern Art.

  • Prototyping User Experiences: Semester Review

    The students were asked to produce a video to reflect upon the use of prototypes in the design process.

  • Starbucks Strategy Project

    Students were asked to design a new strategy for Starbucks to improve their retail store experience.
