Working with Kicker

We began a new project with Kicker Studio, where faculty member, Jennifer Bove, is a principal. We brought on Kicker to create an installation that will reside in the department hallway area, and is visible as visitors circulate through the space and new visitors emerge from the elevators into the new department. This week, we had the opportunity to view their top five concepts for the project out of fifty they had brainstormed.

Kicker is blogging the project as part of their Projects in Process series.

The walk will be led by Alissa Walker, author of the new City Walks Architecture: New York and co-presented by the MFA Interaction Design Department and Worldstudio . During the walking tour, we’ll find out how this unlikely corner of the city is going green, from low-energy LEDs to pocket parks in closed streets. Then we’ll head to the department for eco-friendly refreshments.
