Second-Years Visits Intersection Student Blog

For our first field visit of the semester, Munawar Ahmed our instructor for Leadership, Ethics and Professional Practices took us to Intersection, the company behind LinkNYC and MTA On the Go.

Interesting things I heard:

  • Intersection is technically a phone company
  • On average 80,000 calls are made and 16,0000 tablet interactions on LinkNYC
  • LinkNYC can handle 512 users connecting to the WiFi at any given time
  • LinkLondon is coming soon
  • LinkNYC 2.0 is going to happened
