Congratulations to Local Projects, whose Explore 9/11 made it onto Apple’s just launched App Store Essentials Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame features 50 of the best applications considered by Apple, and is an “ongoing collection of the very best of the best.” Local Projects Founder and Principal Jake Barton and Senior Interaction Designer Ian Curry are currently teaching the Public Interfaces course this semester. MFA candidate Eric St. Onge, who was a summer intern at the media design firm, worked on the audio tour of the World Trade Center site, took part in designing the interactions, and was the primary software developer for the application.
