Interaction design finally get its own award ceremony with the announcement of the first ever Interaction Awards from IxDA. SVA is a proud education partner for this event, which opened submissions on June 6 and will close with a ceremony at Interaction12 in Dublin, Ireland.
This year’s inaugural awards will begin a dialogue, inspire designers and businesses alike, raise the profile of interaction design, and demonstrate its value in the global economy. Any projects completed within the past two years are eligible, and entry fees are $50 for students and $200 for professionals, or $20 for students and $120 for professionals in developing regions.
Re-imagining completely an existing product or service by creating new behaviors, usages or markets.
The jury includes faculty member Robert Fabricant as the Inaugural Jury Chair, previous guest lecturer Matt Jones of BERG, Massimo Banzio, Janna DeVylder, Younghee Jung, Jonas Löwgren, and Helen Walters.
