What to Pack iPhone app prepare travelers for their destinations.

Packing is a process that everyone experiences when preparing for a trip. Challenges that travelers face are bringing the appropriate clothing, packing efficiently, and knowing local do’s and dont’s. Using Fodor’s expertise and content from their guidebooks, a destination focused packing iPhone app was explored. The goal of the app is to prepare the traveler until they reach their destination hotel. Features include providing a list of appropriate travel items by the number of days, where one can customize. It works as a checklist and push notifications serve as reminders. Also the camera takes a snapshot of your capsule kit which can be saved. TravelSmart is the editorial section where you get important information, tips and local taboos (leave the camouflage at home when visiting Nicaragua). –Michael Katayama, Summer 2010
