Online
Join our faculty member Adriana Valdez Young – the Head of Community at 3×3 for an interactive online session on the applications of community centered design!
About this event
Join 3×3 for a lively gathering around the challenges, myths, and joys of practicing community-centered design.
We’ve created this recurring gathering space for emerging and established practitioners to connect, learn, and support each other in their practice of inclusive and community-centered design practices. (We welcome all professional backgrounds and experience levels — no prior training or knowledge of community-centered design needed!)
Takeaways
The aim of this gathering is to offer an onboarding or refresher to the core values and applications of community-centered design, and provide space for participants to engage in discussion and network:
Understand the lineage and evolution of community-centered design in practice;
Gain exposure to the core mindsets and values driving community-centered design;
Engage in conversation with fellow practitioners to share challenges, resources, and inspiration;
Learn about other training opportunities and resources to continue to evolve your practice.
