Erica Heinz has been a design consultant in NYC for 20 years, with a client list including Nike, Google, The Gates Foundation, and The New York Times, as well as many startups and grassroots organizations. She’s taught interaction design at SVA, Parsons, Skillshare, Fortune 100 accelerators, and other startup incubators; she’s spoken on topics from counterculture to CSS.
Her new product experience design book Think in 4D is a visual handbook for product leads and designers, including more than 500 illustrations and 40 exercises to help people visualize and execute. At this event, Erica will introduce the 4D Thinking framework (a new checklist for thoughtful product experience design, pushing the tech industry to think beyond 2D designs and 3D experiences to 4D impacts) and show how to create products that matter (through moments that matter).
