Bio

Daniel Goddemeyer is a researcher and strategic interaction designer who works at the intersection of people, technology, design and urban space and focuses in his work on exploring their future connections, interdependencies and interactions with each other.

He is specifically interested in how ubiquitous technology, connectivity and data will transform and shape our interactions, behaviors and culture in urban space during the coming years and, most of all, what new future opportunities this may hold for cities and citizens from a more human centered perspective.

During his career he has been working for agencies such FutureFarmers, ReD Associates, Fjord, Antenna Design, Teague, Artefact, IDEO and more recently Telefonica R&D being employed in leading or major roles on various projects for clients such as Nokia, Samsung, Lego, Hewlett-Packard, Panasonic and Fujitsu-Siemens.

Daniel has been speaking frequently at conferences such as IDSA and Epic and his work has received several distinctions from major institutions such as the Art Directors Club and the Industrial Designer Society of America as well as being exhibited internationally. His most recent achievement is a Red Dot Award for one of his latest self-funded concept projects and the German Design Price.
