Matt Raw is a digital designer and teacher. He is currently Executive Director, Design at The New York Times, where he manages a team of product designers focused on subscription growth.
Matt graduated in 2006 from the University of Michigan with a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction. Prior to joining The Times, Matt taught at General Assembly, worked on a real-time news product at The Wall Street Journal, and consulted with several nonprofits, philanthropies, and small businesses at Blenderbox, a digital agency in Brooklyn.
For fun, Matt gravitates toward simple, low-key activities like marathon running, letterpress printing, writing, and parenting.
