Bio
John Taikhyung Kim is a passionate designer always looking for opportunities to explore creative subjects. After graduating Carnegie Mellon University as an Industrial Design major, he wanted to explore more areas of design and shortly worked for a creative character firm called Friends With You. Then he returned to Korea and worked at Flur, an interactive media design firm. His main tasks were planning and creating graphics or designs for interactive media installations such as digital kiosks. During this experience, he started to grow more interest in a new area of design collaborating with interactive technology. Wishing to study more about this area, he decided to come to SVA for a graduate level education in Interaction Design.
