Shane Strassberg

Bio
Following four years of service in the United States Marine Corp, where he fought in the Battle of Fallujah, Shane returned to New York City in 2007 unsure of his next move. He held various jobs as a waiter, bartender, wine and spirit salesman, fur coat deliverer, horse-track photographer, and NY State Court Officer. In 2010, he returned to school to pursue a Master's degree in Anthropology, and became fascinated in the intersections between culture and technology. He decided then to build a career around those interests and discovered the growing field of User Experience, which would serve as a logical fit for his anthropological background.
Shane is currently developing a NYC Basketball Court Locator App, which he hopes can strengthen the culture and community for local basketball players who want to challenge themselves by finding new courts and competition to play.
