Drew Cogbill is a product manager with a keen understanding of mobile user experience and development. He teaches Mobile UX Design for the Summer Intensive in Interaction Design.
Currently working as a Senior Mobile Product Manager at the New York Times, Drew leads product for the iOS and Android news apps. Previous clientele includes Disney, Oakley, Aetna, and Cooking Light Magazine. He has worked on over 45 apps in fields such as gaming, healthcare, e-commerce, consumer products, education, and IoT. These apps have been used in enterprise settings as well as been downloaded millions of times from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Drew received his MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons in 2009. His background is in chemistry and music—he studied both subjects in college and wrote his thesis on nanotechnology.
Drew is an Eagle Scout and lives with his wife and son in Brooklyn
