Having a BE in industrial design from Zhejiang University of Technology cultivated Yohe as a maker with a comprehensive design sense. After graduation, two episodes of working experience in Yah Lab, a digital interactive art lab, and YITU Tech, an AI-driven start-up, helped him understand interaction design better from the perspectives of both art and technology.
Yohe is quite curious about the causes of complex human behaviors and the scientific principles that inform art expression possibilities. He believes that interaction design is a dynamic art to solve daily problems caused by human behavior via flexible service, to bring life to inanimate physical products, and to direct a narrative and playful, sensual experience.
Yohe pursues a more natural interaction and would like to explore the intersection of humanism and emerging technology. Also, he believes logicality, creativity and detailed execution play essential roles in the design process.
Now he is ready to learn and combine skill sets and mindsets in interaction design and sustainable business sense into his design to bring more value to people’s real lives.
