With a background in the nonprofit sector, Samantha is deeply interested in technology that fosters civic engagement. She believes there is a need for intuitive tools that advance progressive causes and expand the fight to resist. Namely, she believes there can be better ways to drive interactions in order to educate, motivate, and connect communities. Through the lens and framework of interaction design, Samantha is exploring more inclusive ways to engage and empower advocates for social change — on a local, national, and global scale.
Samantha is a New York native who lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two sons. She holds a Master of Public Administration in Public and Non-Profit Management from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film from the School of Visual Arts.
