Scott’s love of design and business all started with a mouse, namely Mickey Mouse. Growing up in Buffalo, New York, Scott’s childhood fascination with Disney history led him to discover the science of Imagineering, the power of immersive storytelling, and the art of human-centered design. Eager to tell his own story, Scott launched his multidisciplinary design career at Indiana University, where he studied Advertising and Apparel Merchandising.
After releasing his first product and successfully running a start-up in college, Scott ventured west to Los Angeles, California. As the marketing director of Burn 60, a high-intensity interval training studio, Scott applied his human-centered approach to marketing, finance, operations, branding, and product design. Most recently, Scott has been designing connected fitness products for AthliOS, a fitness-specific cloud platform.
Scott believes design is a creative framework that can bring order to any problem. The technical execution may vary, but the principles of design are resolute. Scott wants to continue to explore the role of interaction design in business and seeks to develop meaningful products.
Outside of the studio, Scott is a Buffalo Bills fan, boutique fitness aficionado, and a branding geek.
