Sophia was born and raised in warm and sunny Los Angeles. This made her poorly equipped to attend Cornell University, where she slowly and painfully adapted to blizzards and bitter winters. Attempting to divert her attention from this freezing reality, she kept herself busy by becoming involved in software development, journalism, product management, and art. She recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Information Science and miraculously warmed up to the east coast, making her excited for life in the city.

Sophia loves bringing narratives to life to encourage greater understanding and empathy across communities. She works across a variety of mediums to achieve this, including design, illustration, and programming. You can probably catch her at a corner of a coffee shop, doodling, and writing away. She looks forward to creating delightful and useful experiences inspired by your stories.
