human-centered data collection and research tool for experiencing a
community from the perspective of local residents.
Civic View makes emotional, qualitative
data about public space accessible to policy makers, civic
organizations, and the technology community. Its data sets include
GPS, video, interview transcript, and biometric readings. These data
streams are interoperable and machine-readable, while respecting the
privacy of participants who volunteer to tell their stories.
