Lisa Lurie is a Product Designer who bakes strategic and tactical thinking into design. Prior to joining the team at IBM, Lisa worked in the sports gaming sector, where she built an app for the NBA that pulled in live scores from the game as it was being broadcast. Lisa worked at NBCU, where she created the product strategy and designed the enterprise application that NBCU used to analyze and call the National Election. She was part of the initial Nook team at Barnes & Noble where she designed the Nook application for mobile. She also designed and built a mobile website for Bank of America. Her superpower is making complex applications useful and usable. Principles of universal design and design thinking are woven into everything she touches.Lisa is an alumni of NYU’s Interaction Design Program, and Carnegie-Mellon, where she studied Theatrical Design.
