Studio and Labs

You will have 24/7 access to the MFA ixD Studio, located on the 3rd floor of 136 West 21st Street, in a building shared by multiple SVA graduate programs and the Visible Futures Lab.

The 5,000-square-foot ixD Studio includes a modular classroom space, co-working studio, device lab, user testing room, enclosed study rooms for quieter work, design library, soundproof booth, and communal kitchen.

All courses and events take place in this collaborative, multi-functional space. Nourishing creativity and exploration, the studio acts as the catalyst for design work to thrive.

Device Lab
