Mikey Chen was born in Taiwan, and came to New York at the age of 12. He is an industrial and graphic designer, who attended Pratt Institute. Over the past years, Mikey has worked on projects for Pepsi, Design Within Reach, Kikkerland, MoMA, and more. He enjoys observing human behavior and interaction in different situations, and from these observations, he derives inspiration for his designs.

Mikey found his great interest in interaction design through his work experience. He is a strong believer that a good design is something simple, and useful. Mikey focuses not only on the form and shapes of his designs, but intends to design products which have functions that create small improvements for everyday life.
