Heyu has a background in film, motion graphics, and digital studies. She first worked in the advertising industry with a focus on the digital experience in branding and design strategy for clients including DraftKings and Lockheed Martin. She then realized that she was more stimulated by the intersection of human-centered design, business, and technology.

Heyu has a border collie named Collie. She is passionate about spicy food, the gym, gallery hopping, film photography, and film noir. She has experience creating short food and fashion documentaries in New York.

Heyu is a firm believer in the multidisciplinary aspect and functionality in design. She wants to bring her strength as a storyteller to the design process and create meaningful experiences that address people’s real needs and issues. Heyu wants to be a line stepper and is ready to enjoy her journey in the field of interaction design.
