Benjamin was raised in Washington DC and in 2003 moved to Atlanta, GA to study Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology at Emory University. Benjamin balanced his left-brained inquiry into human behavioral with a minor in visual arts. Some of his work, including a two-story installation, was on display at Emory’s campus. After graduating Benjamin triangulated the States by moving to Seattle where he managed the design and marketing efforts for the global health team at the National Bureau of Asian Research. Benjamin then practiced design at the full-service interactive marketing agency, Blue Rooster, in Fremont before moving to New York City. He has three years experience in managing and practicing design for private sector and non-profit clients including The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Microsoft Bing, Microsoft Zune, and Bloomberg L.P.
As time allows, Benjamin goes outside. He has been climbing for seven years and is a certified PSIA ski instructor.
