Tina made her first website in sixth grade (a Geocities gem replete with animated GIFs and background midis), and it all went downhill from there. Years later, she graduated from Tufts University and the Museum School of Fine Arts with a pair of degrees in Architectural Studies and Visual Arts, but found herself determined to continue her love affair with the web. Building upon a diverse collection of interests in everything from psychology to computer science to the fine arts, she comes to SVA with hopes of exploring new possibilities where people, culture, and hypertext products intersect.
In the real world, Tina works as a web and graphic designer for Cahoots Design in Boston, where she creates interactive and print solutions for clients ranging from folk musicians to hospitals. Her obsession is crafting websites with attention to visual appeal, accessibility, and functionality, while sneaking in as much CSS3 as she can get away with.
In whatever time remains, Tina loves to cook, fold origami, screen-print and in general make a mess on any flat horizontal surface. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, and enjoys long conversations, people-watching, and exploring the city (any city).
