Ning Xu is a User Experience Designer, Design Strategist, and passionate World Traveler. Born in Baoji, ShaanXi China, she came to the United States for high school and later earned a Bachelor’s degree in communications focused on human relations and behaviors at the University of Minnesota, Twin-Cities.

In Ning’s senior year, she took an adventure, backpacking in 17 countries across five continents in 10 months, which allowed her to push herself outside the comfort zone and explore different cultures around the globe. In her last semester, she went to Columbia University for an exchange program, where she developed a strong passion for the conjunction of technology and design, and soon enough, user experience design became her dream job.

Currently, Ning is a UX Design intern at Designity, a startup dedicated to creating freelance opportunities for designers, students, and employers. Her goal is always to embed and explore technology with design to make people’s lives easier.

In her free time, Ning is an advanced skier and serial entrepreneur.
