Nour is a product designer. He lived in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Lebanon, before studying industrial design at the Savannah College of Art and Design in the United States. He worked at RKS Design in California on projects such as designing the UI and apps for Sharp’s Smart TVs, a portable computer for the blind, and exploring how mobile technology can help people deal with disaster situations. Two years ago, he moved home to Beirut to reconnect with the culture and discover the design scene.

Nour is interested in how technology amplifies different aspects of our humanity, both the good ones and the bad, and does so across languages, cultures, and generations. He is looking forward to playful experimentation and collaboration with others at SVA.
