Emily Chan graduated from the University of Buffalo with a degree in Psychology. She stepped foot into the world of design in her last year of undergrad while taking elective art classes. After graduation, she took internships in various design agencies which taught her tremendous skills in becoming a designer. Her passion in interaction design was sparked when she wanted to design for people, creating a synergistic bond between the product and the person. She believes that the IXD program would help her learn how to design for a more meaningful purpose.

When Emily is not engaging in design, she loves to plan for adventures. Road trips are one of the bests because she can pump up the music and sing her lungs out in the car, definitely the best person to drive with.
