Shixiao Wang was born in a small seaside town in China. Because of her family, she was involved in arts and crafts from an early age. She graduated from the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts with a major in Art Design.

Before she graduated, she had a chance to work as a designer and a director in a company named Creative Centre, located in Shanghai. She designed posters, wrote script and arranged activities for the staff. Even though the work was hard, it gave Shixiao opportunity to to improve herself in a variety of fields. After that, she decided to study at SVA to learn more skills and technology.

In addition to design and the arts, Shixiao loves music and playing musical instruments. She also likes to contact people with different backgrounds and listen to their stories to know a more colorful life, which give her much inspiration.
