Pamela Jue

Class of 2014

Bio

Initially wanting to become an artist, Pam pursued her BFA in Studio Arts at New York University. It was through an unexpected and fortuitous career path that she fell into interaction design. After a stint in Shanghai, working as an in-house print designer for an art gallery, she moved to San Francisco to work as a lead user experience and visual designer for Momentum Design Labs. It was there, creating mobile and web applications, where she realized that interaction was the fundamental component linking her passions for art, design, social issues, and ethnography.

Inspired by her travel and work experiences, she wants to utilize design as a cross-cultural mediator, bringing people together to improve human interaction and discourse through the discovery of new relationships. She is excited to take part in the MFA Interaction Design program and hopes to uncover new ways to synthesize her interests.
