Yi Jie is a user-centric designer, with a background in consulting and advertising. Prior to joining the interaction design program, she worked as a User Experience Designer at Deloitte Digital, a Hong Kong startup, and worked as a 3D Experience Designer at an advertising agency in Seattle. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design where she discovered her passion for user-centered design applied in everyday life.

Yi Jie is a firm believer in using interaction design across multidisciplinary fields. She enjoys creating intuitive solutions, analyzing human interactions in the digital and physical realm, and creating digital products to enhance human life.
In her free time, you can find her doing yoga, spin, or exploring new cafes in town. She keeps a natural sense of wonder in life and is always planning for new adventures to fuel her inspiration. She looks forward to continuing designing and problem-solving for the social and environmental good.
